Which countries are in the path of totality?

The central path reaches Greenland, Iceland, Spain and a small part of Portugal. Local duration and Sun altitude vary substantially along the path.

Is Spain the only place to see totality?

No. Totality also crosses eastern Greenland and western Iceland before reaching Spain and Portugal.

How should I choose a location?

Compare totality duration, Sun altitude, horizon access, mobility and weather prospects. The simulator covers geometry; it does not forecast clouds.
